Book “Arte y literatura en los catálogos del IVAM”

This publication responds to the objective of recovering the funds of the IVAM (Valentian Institute of Modern Art) and includes those texts that were made by writers for several temporary exhibitions of the IVAM.

The reader who decides to enter these pages may approach the work of many different artists of the twentieth century in a different way from the usual of the art historian. You will find, in some occasions, the testimony of the friend, in others, a literary vision of the work or the time of the author, and, in some cases, you will witness a conversation between two friends. The book includes text of writers as Octavio Paz, Elias Canetti, Pablo Neruda, Italo Calvino or Roberto Bolaño, among others. This book has been coordinated by Javier Molins.
